To have your logo imprinted, or 'stitched' on apparel or accessories, our art department takes the logo and digitizes it from scratch, using specialized software. This ensures the highest quality embroidery on all products College Hype offers. We accept art in any of the following formats: camera-ready art [high-quality black & white or color copy] letterhead or business card or electronically [.jpg, .gif, .eps, .tiff, .psd, .cdr, .ai]
Digitizing a logo is an artistic process used by embroiderers where a computerized set of 'punches' or 'stitches' is generated to capture each individual part of your logo or design.
In most cases when you want embroidered apparel, you will need your logo to be digitized. We computer-punch each individual stitch of your logo, which also allows us to account for the specific type of garment and material you ordered. This process helps us further ensure the quality of your embroidered logo, thereby preventing loose stitches or 'stitch puckering' on your garments. When the logo is digitized, we will provide you with an actual sample of how it looks stitched out. This gives you the opportunity to approve it or make any necessary changes, and also ensures you will be 100% satisfied.

If a file is not truly vector-based, submit the original file format. Gradients/older versions of software may cause problems in translation. Please submit a matching pixel image (such as jpg) so that the art can be verified upon opening.
For embroidery, jpg and bmp are preferred formats. Photographs MUST BE ACTUAL SIZE or larger or loss of detail is probable.
Pixel images CAN be extracted from Office files with extra processing time. If a logo was created with a Microsoft Office Application, a camera ready printout as large as possible is more effective than submitting the actual computer file.
